Many would say it’s the job of the artist to inspire, but really, it is to be inspired. Inspired to move, moved to feel, feeling moved to create. re:mused aims to explore the give and take between what inspires and what comes from that inspiration.
Larissa Waters is a Creative Director and multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in the Northern California. Once the moniker of a solo graphic design business, the idea of “re:mused” has been reborn into something more exploratory, more evolving and ultimately, more collaborative. This space is intended to be a place to share what Larissa is currently working on as a maker and who/what/where is inspiring that work. A place to highlight other makers and small businesses, to look at the long history of art and craft, especially multigenerational influences. A place to ignite conversation, collaboration and community.
Larissa runs re:mused studio from her home base in San Francisco. She is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer who strives to keep the hand in all that she creates from water color and ink originals to botanical inspired surface pattern designs and products.
Thank you for stopping by and watching this little kernel of an idea grow.
