Nature in Repeat

Our botanical-inspired stationery and gifts offer a unique and coordinating approach to a range of products from double-sided gift wrap and greeting cards to notepads and tea towels. Blending hand drawn illustrations with watercolors and gouache, our pattern collections are influenced by nature's palette and rooted in a love of historical styles like William Morris’ Arts & Crafts and Liberty London’s ditsy florals, making them timeless and elevated additions to shops of all sizes.

A Hand in Everything

99.99% of our designs start by hand. With a continuing education in historical pattern and decorative design motifs and processes, traditional techniques blend with the modern to ensure there's always a human touch.

Nature's Palette

From weekly local flower pop-up hauls to the wildflowers of California's coast, color inspiration is everywhere and it's core to our collections.

Process and Play

The "MUSE" in re:mused studio is all about inspiration and play to continually evolve and explore what inspires and what can be inspired. Stepping out of our comfort zones with new processes and materials provides a freshness to our approach, while sharing what we've learned along the way.

About Larissa

re:mused studio is run by owner and artist, Larissa Waters, a Bay Area born, San Francisco based multi-disciplinary creative. She grew up drawing, painting, getting her hands on any craft she could and wandering the aisles of the packaging design firm her mother worked the front desk for. After receiving her BA in Graphic Design from California College of Arts & Crafts (now California College of the Arts), she spent the next two decades working in small design studios, advertising agencies, and eventually went on to become a Creative Director in the marketing department of a menswear corporation. But the pull back to working with her hands again found her in the world of surface pattern design and those seeds grew into what re:mused studio is today, taking pattern to product.

Materials Matter

The studio emphasizes thoughtfully designed and sourced products. Choosing local and eco-friendly manufacturers and supplies whenever possible, is core to the studio's values. Compostable, recycled and recyclable products and packaging are a priority, even repurposing gift wrap scraps for belly bands for shipping.

Community and Connection

Connecting with community and empowering women is also crucial to how re:mused studio functions. There's room at the table for everyone and the more connection, conversation and collaboration, the better the work becomes.

Giving Back

We give back a portion of proceeds throughout the year to two foundations of which we feel strongly about their impact: Living Beyond Breast Cancer (Providing trusted information and a community of support to all impacted by breast cancer) and World Central Kitchen (providing fresh, nourishing meals to communities impacted by natural disasters and humanitarian crisis).
